Dear MGC Golf Pass Holder,
Last
night was the coldest wind chill of the year with the strongest winds. I can
only hope the 2008 golf season will soon be here. The entire staff, Golf
Manager Keith Zietlow, Superintendent Chris Oehlert, and Assistant
Superintendent Luke Imsland has helped to evaluate all categories of our 2008
fee structure to insure that all fees are as competitive as we can allow. Most fees for our annual pass holders have
remained the same.
The
big change for 2008 will be our daily fee structure. Due to increased costs we
will need to increase our daily green fees and golf cart rental by one dollar
each. Our annual golf pass fee structure will remain the same as 2007 which
provides for an increased savings by purchasing an annual pass instead of
paying per round.
Please
review the following information and attached fee structure. The early discount
is valid if payments are received prior to February 16, 2008. We at MGC
appreciate your past participation and welcome your continued support for the
2008 season.

Bonus Rounds Program
For
2008 Keith has added a bonus program for current pass holders who help sell
annual passes to new golfers. Bonus golf round passes will be provided to
current pass holders based on the type of pass sold to new MGC golfers. Pass
holders can refer new golfers to our website at http://manchestergolfcourse.net
and print out the fee structure form and mail it back to MGC. Make sure the new
pass holder puts your name on the fee structure form to give you credit.

4-4-3
Golf Passes
The Dave
Harper idea of 4-4-3 golf passes will be offered again in 2008. As a business
person you can receive 4-4-3 passes at no cost to you. The pass allows four
golfers to golf for the
price of three, or
a twenty-five percent discount. Your are given credit on the pass for giving the
pass and the person you give it to has their name on the pass as the person
responsible for providing the discount for the group golfing. It has worked
well in the past because the golfers appreciate the discount, you get credit
for the reduced price, and you help introduce new golfers to MGC.
These
passes are designed to encourage our young adults to play as much golf during
the summer as possible. These passes
are for unlimited play. Check with the
Pro Shop for the time restrictions for junior golf passes. Restrictions include
no Thursday tee times after 10am and tee time restrictions for tournaments and
golf outings. The Pro Shop staff will track all of your rounds.
The
fee structure for MGC golf cart passes will remain the same for 2008. The daily
fee for cart rental has increased one dollar for 9 and 18 hole rounds which
makes the annual cart pass program even more of a bargain. The annual cart pass
allows for the use of the cart regardless if one or two seats are used.
The annual
fee for private golf cart storage for 2008 will be $375.00. The additional fee
for electric carts will be $50.00 for the season. We will be consolidating cart
storage from the upper building to the lower building. Please contact Keith
Zietlow to make arrangements to move carts and select new stalls. If you are
currently in the lower building you can move to an empty cart stall if you
prefer. All stalls will be assigned on a first come basis. If you currently are
storing a cart but choose to not use a stall in 2008 you will have until
February 18th to have your cart removed from storage. Make arrangements with
Keith or Chris Oehlert. All arrangements for golf cart storage must be made by
February 18th, 2008. As always, no off premise golf carts will be allowed on
the golf course.
Once again thank you for supporting Manchester Golf
Course. We sincerely hope that after
you read this letter and review the attached fees you will again join us for
the 2008 season. To
take advantage of the “early pay discount” you need to pay prior to February
16, 2008.
If you have any questions
regarding the fees discussed above, please contact Keith Zietlow or myself at
(563) 927-4155.
Sincerely,
Evan “Chip” Hughes
